Terra are promoting the area as part of the East of Weston-Super-Mare draft allocation. The development incorporates a new bypass around the village of Banwell. The area has the potential to deliver circa 900 dwellings alongside commercial uses located near the M5. The area has key links to the strategic road network and has limited policy constraints, high demand for growth and continued support from North Somerset District Council in the area as an allocation within Planning Policy.
